In addition to being a (still) chronically sleep-deprived dad of two (awesome) kids and husband of one (awesome) wife, JONATHON E. STEWART is a screenwriter, producer and director. With writing partner Eyal Podell, Stewart wrote the screenplay SEUSS – a biopic about the legendary author – which earned the #2 slot on Hollywood’s Black List in 2012 – they have since written screenplays for Pixar, Warner Bros, Paramount, ABC Studios, STX, Paramount Animation, Sony Animation, Fox Animation and others, and currently have several new films in various stages of development. Stewart directs and produces independent film and music videos, including metal legend Helmet’s “Gone,” which aired on MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball.
Stewart is also the principal of digital content production and web development company, Atticus Entertainment, Inc, which writes, directs, produces and hosts commercials and short-form, original videos for clients like the New York Times online company About.com, Verizon, Walmart, PepsiCo, eBay, the Discovery Channel and many others, over 500 and counting. Atticus Entertainment also produces cutting-edge branded content entertainment and innovative website applications concept to delivery, and provides full creative advertising and marketing services for large and small business clients.
Stewart clocked time at HBO Films, The Walt Disney Company and served as Director of Development for boutique production company, Grover in CA. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College.
